I made this tune a while ago in collab with Tomos. We wanted to make a big fat D&B anthem, not just a dancefloor thing. Given the title I thought it would be a good thing to upload it on Nelson Mandela's birthday. I came up with the main idea (drums, basses,...) then Tomos made melodies to it and I added another round of stuff. It seems like there is no proper drop. I would intrduce the basses later in the track. You showed all in the intro and there was not much left when it "dropped". The low end needs some boosting imo. Tune was made in 2007, minimal was nowhere back then We never intended to keep a true DnB structure or anything else for that matter. Drums sound a bit weak as well. Sorry lads, but this track sounds like a load of idea put together really disjointedly. There are some nice ideas, but it lacks direction. You have both done a lot better. Not much of a "dancing" mood for this but more of a chill out but trippy experience. It almost told a story in my head (sober) The drums are nice and I don't to say that they were weak cuz im not an experienced producer yet but I can see how the hi hats were overpowering the drums in some parts which isn't bad if that was your intentions. People tend to compare this tune to the average dancefloor roller and then not like it.
