could you explain a bit more what bass are trying to achieve? usually the liquid style uses a sine bass. in ableton you got the operator as a generator.

for the low end,
use an operator synth with single sine wave,
(set velocity to 50% if using a keyboard)
look for a low note something around c0 to c1 will make a nice low tone.
use autofilter to eq all the top n mid out of it,
something around 60hrtz will shake the doors quite nicely.
add a reece bass to simpler set the filter to band pass,
mess with till you get a nice mid bass sound.
you'll need to send the filter to the simpler lfo by turning up its level,
turn on lfo set it to sync 5/16ths(or whatever works best for you)
again use autofilter to cut al the sub frequencies out something around 150+hrtz will work
(you can do all this in one instrument rack if you want the sub n mid bass to work with each other, plus you can set up macro's to control the lfo, or whatever parameter you want).
instant low end with mid bass wobblefun
(the mid bass sound is dependent on the reece sound you chose)
peace
