(Effect is clearly audible after 2.20)
could someone point me in the direction of creating the effect used on this vocal. Its used quite alot by brookes brothers, danny byrd and such. It think its some kind of autotune like effect, but I dont have much experience with those plugins.

sounds like a vocoder to me and a bit of regular autotune.

What DAW are you using? there's a lot of different vocoder settings that can achive this

I use fl and ableton live. Didnt think of Vocoders, nice tip! Will try it out Smile .

This effect at 2:20 is autotune. The singer does a glide from high to low, but the pitch is "snapped" to particular notes, which causes the stepping.
