Say is there anyway to save some instruments with patches, effects to something so you can import it in an other project file, to start out for as a starting point?

Like combinators in Reason?

yes there is m8.
use instrument racks and audio effect racks.
you can "load" up an instrument rack with a few vsts or ableton synths,
save that rack for later use.
the same can be applied to audio effect racks too.
