nice vocal! smooth shit mate. thought it was gonna be a bit more of a roller from that intro but pleasant surprise.mixdown sounds tight, sub sits nicely. like the 2.40 slow down. with some professional mastering to give it that 'punch', this would be sick

its virtually the same program, apart from cubase being tailored towards musicians with the standard vst's ect, and nuendo being used more for films ect with its 5.1 audio support

yeah i saw that video, i think what they mean is using already made breaks, whether thats from themselves or other people..... ul notice alot of top dj's use alot of other top dj's breaks in their tunes.

First off, I also had the impression your sub is overpowering the kick drum but it appears to be that your kick drum actually has no real bottom end which could clash with the sub.
Add a bit of body to it(layer or replace), eq precisely, sustain some of the low frequencies and cut only the spots were the sub hits. don't just kill everything below 80hz.
Or do it the other way round and cut the sub precisely were the kick hits but then I guess you’d be better off using sidechain compression. You could of course eq both or whatever, it pretty much depends on your choice of samples and sub bass programming plusthe frequencies it obtains. experiment!
If I were you I’d also work the sub, make it slightly thicker and warmer.
Another prob I see is that in the sections where it goes along with the lfo of the wobble it gets pretty undefined and kills a big amount of the grove. Layering the sub would make it also way more controllable But maybe that’s just me.

sick vibes mate! like the cross b/t liquid & more jungle / jump up vibe goin on here. Has a nice old school feel to it. I wouldn't mind feelin a little more sub w/ the bass. Thing that would really fill it out nicely. Otherwise, great use of samples, vox, sfx... big up!

Pretty much on the same wavelength as dLo here, really loving this summer vibe to it.
The sub could a little more kick to it though, but otherwise a solid track.
