Please check out my new track 'Absence Of Light' and post your comments here!

Hello people. Firstly, thanks for all your comments and reviews for my 1st track 'The Architect'. I will go back and finish it one day. Well here is a preview of my second track, titled 'Absence Of Light'. I've drifted back into my love for the DarkSide a bit with this one, so see what you think and let me know, thanks again.

for someone who has'nt been makin tracks 4 very long ur breaks are tidy the bass is good think it could do with more of a release or sustain on it because it makes track seem a little errmmm not empty just sparse some good samples and constructed well overall nice one

Intro sounds really spooky, nice vocal, adds really to the atmosphere.
Nice bass rips, but i'm not keen on this kick/snare rythm (snare on the 5 and 11 pos). For me it removes the 'drive' of a track (makes it seem slower).
But that is just my personal taste. The track is nicely produced. Can't really say anything about the mastering since i have no clue how to do it myself properly Smile . Good stuff man.

I disagree with drw89 on the drum, I like it, it fits the track nicely.
The growling bass is also well done, but it could use some more kick to it.
Seeing as this is your second track, I'd say you're well on your way to some excellent stuff, mate.
Very f'ing nice Smile

yeh boy this is sick, loads better than the first track you posted. dirty bass sounds, just think the drums could do with turning and beefing up cos the basses are so loud

love the bass, use of sfx, and the snare. Intro reminded me almost exactly of dom & rolland's "Jungle Beast" Could use some variation in the break & the bass line to change it up a little bit because it does get a little repetitive, but otherwise nice work!

Dark intro, love the bass stabs, OK. Ease up. This is pretty fuckin brutal my friend Wink I LOVE that bass, its heavy. I think you could maybe make it heavier by opening up the filter a little and adding a nice sub under it. At the moment it sounds a little dull, which I am thinking is the filter setting. In parts around the change at 3 min 40 or so it seems the volume on the bass drops? Anyways, beats are solid, bass needs to be sorted just a little to help sit in the mix, a little eq work in general needs to be done. Other than that, mate, this is rippin.
I love bass heavy shit that tears you apart. Fuck mate, im expecting big things coming from your end if this is your second tune.
