I sometimes have serious trouble connecting to the site when I'm on it for a long time (say over 30 minutes). Get all kind of HTTP500 internal server errors 'HTTP string too long' and shit like that, but when I restart the problems are always gone. Maybe try that?

This was a known Internet Explorer bug, seems to be solved in IE6.0 SP1.
