I know you can do this with Redrum by draw a new yellow line refering to which pattern you want. Anything similar in Thor? If not, is there anyway of transfering the notes to the piano roll? There must be a way I'm other looking, surely. Unfortunately, the step sequencer is a bit limited this way, but what you could do is use a Matrix Pattern Sequencer instead of Thors step sequencer. Granted, you'll lose some useability, like the ability to transpose a pattern to the note played on midi, but solve this by using the Matrix to its full potential. Another way of working would be to shift-create a Matrix and hook up the curve cv to Thors volume control, giving you a gate option. The step sequencer runs the notes, and the matrix gates the output. I can make an example file, if you want. Looks like you are spot on. This is the first time I have used the sequencer, so it is all quite new to me. I will give the Matrix ago. (ie: Thors Step Sequencer on its own) The second one does the same, but is gated through use of the Matrix Pattern Sequencer. (ie: both Thor and Matrix sequencer) And the third one is playing the notes in the main sequencer, gated through the Matrix again. (ie: Matrix only) The Matrix can be used for a myriad of things btw, you can route the Curve CV to LFO rate, or to the filter, or pretty much anything if you use the CV In on Thor...
