love those vox. great atmosphere w/ the pads & strings. I feel like that slide up-down sfx is used too much... it looses its effect b/c it comes in so frequently - i think at least. Bass sounds good but maybe some more automation in the wobble would add another element of interest to the tune. Overall, smooth liquidy, but a hint of darkness. I'd like to hear the final version.
like i said.... changes to be made, need to effect the vocals and pull em in tighter cos there a little looses in places, theres no variation in the bass riff which will be sorted n stuff....
likin it so far. look forward to finished version. little blip rise things are overdone, could probably change up the bass sounds in the drop a little more. with the intro the way it is, sounds like some pro stuff, nice and full.
I like the stuff! Reminds me a bit of hospital records dnb-style. That pitch sweep is a bit overused in my opinion and i would recommend a bit more dynamic in the song, otherwise great!
Some very very smart sounds and well put together, very fluid and directional, a definite roller.
My only gripes would be the vocal is far far to quiet on both the intro and the drop....needs much more presence, more chorus or a tight reverb maybe and a touch wider on the sound field with an off beat phase or something, who knows, but I think a more prominent vocal will sit much better, its too quiet right now - but still a very very decent sample.
Also the bass is very sudden and becomes out of place when it drops, too much of a shock to the ear, it needs to be slowly introduced I feel, it needs to melt in to the drop better, maybe introduce little bursts of it through the intro, just teasers, maybe phased or filtered out in places, then slam it back in for the drop, I think that will give the first drop much more oomph and epic drama.
