(I split this off from the dread bass thread).

On the top bar you'll see a play button, a stop button and a record button. Next to that you'll see a number (typically 140.000 at startup).
Place mouse on the 140, press left mousebutton (and hold it) then move mouse up or down. Release mouse when tempo is set to desired rate.

Read manual so you get a basic understanding of FL studio. It is a great and powerful daw, but you need to invest some time to get to know it.

FL manual is better than the average manual though, if you are messing around with 3xOsc for example and you'd like to see the help file about 3xOsc specifically, all you have to do is focus that window and press F1. You can discover a lot this way!

and there's the FL Studio Guru (by imageline):

Try to get your hands onto The FL Studio Bible (it's out there on the evil internetz somewhere). It really helps if you want to know something.

If you're not going to get a printed copy of it anyway, it comes with FL. Cause the FL Studio Bible is pretty much just the help file but printed...

And it's not like that's a big secret, Imageline employees themselves say that except for some additional info, it's pretty much the same:

So in my opinion, press F1 :p
