hi dotbe'ers
1st tune up on here for ages from me,
deep atmoshperic simplistic (not quite minimal(but im getting there))
its still a little bit hectic for where id like to be heading,
but small steps rodney, small steps.
the tune is finished, completed, finito, done
so dont ask me to make changes to it as all the files are backed up and are being post dated.
i am 100% happy with how its turned out,
and have had a few labels sniffing around it
(not bad considering i dont whore myself to labels)

O MY WORD THERE IS SOOO MANY THINGS I WOULD CHANGE ABOUT THIS TUNE!!..... just kidding, its very atmospheric, nice morning tune. even the mrs likes it, and she's into clubland shit, so you must be doing right. well done mate

im really turned on by the minimal vibe right now,
i:e spectrasoul etc,
as i stated the tune is a little bit too hektic for where id like to be heading
(production wise),
but i'll get there.

Good stuff, do like what you made of this. Mixdown is spot on, mastering is really crystal clear. The only criticism I can come up with is a bit too much reverb on some elements which takes away the some clearness.

yes m8 i do like how this has turned out.
im just trying to keep things real simple,
as i feel that iv got way to caught up in the technical side of production,
instead of listen to what the tune is telling me to do.
this vibe is a big departure or adventure for me,
and im quite liking sitting at the pc again
.
yes there is some verb on the crashes m8
and i probably didnt eq it that well,

mate this is just beautiful, and very listenable! I really like the movement throughout.. the drums are nice, but I would personally use a transient modulator on the drums to give them some more life. also perhaps I would layer some fine distortion over the drums to make the timbre a bit longer - then compress them down a little bit to slide into the moving pads and reese..
I really do like this track! well done mate

transient modulator sounds like something outa back to the future,
ahh no hang on thats the flux capacitor lol,
ok now im confused transient capacitor, flux modulator,
oh god someone please pass me those rizlas.
(iv not heard of those transvestite modelling things,
care to enlighten one?)

Hi there nice intro man, clear sound, good build in. Sounds modern but old school genre. Takes a bit too long to kick in would say to shorten it.
Nice clean production when it does kick in, bit soft for my liking though still good. Clear pianos.Like the harmonies bass , pads and pianos combine nicely. Overall it does'nt kick enough for me, more an easy listener than a floor shaker. Very well put together though, liked the mastering. The stereo is clean as well also enjoyed the mood of the tune. Would like to hear a heavy remix but thats just my taste.

Sonnox TrasnMod or SPL make a TransMod too
Very nice for drums, but be careful not to overdo it. You don't need to necessarily hear the transient modulation; just enough to alter the first 20-30ms, or the transient (the attack of the drum sound). I think the way these things work is they add some distortion to the transient of each drum hit - but I could be wrong too

not bad mate, like the female vox samples eh, and the reece that comes in after em, intro sounds are nice and deep, not a fan of the piano in there but thats just me. all the best with the interest from labels.
