The sample arn't that bad mate. It is how you process them that makes the difference.
Just gave your track a listen. Your beats could be vastly improved. They are very one dimensional. The beats need more ghost shots, different snare/kick hits, rim shots and possibly other percussion going on. Something you will learn in time.
I know everyone says you can't polish a turd, but you can chuck manure in the flower bed and something will grow from it

I use them too but in my music they just don't sound great which is probs my fault
just layer lots of drumsounds, I usually layer 1 or two for attack and then more for the air/release and then process the hell out of it. just go crazy with compression.
