hi fellas, i aint been on here in awhile as i been working way too much at the job. but here is something i been working on for awhile and would love to get your feedback on. my mixdown probably sucks and its a shame cause this bumps on my system. used alchemy and massive for bass and reeces and fx and stuff, blue for pads, tera, vangaurd, and others too. please comment. thx!
Lovin the intro pad & fx work. Takes a little long for the first drop IMO. Sick break, nice edits, badass bass & vox. Like how you got the vox workin w/ the drum edit @ around 2:50. This is pretty dope. well done mate!
great sounding pads start the track and i quite like the stabbing kicks and shuffley breaks that cause tension before the drop.i liked the vocal at the drop, thought that more vocal samples could have been used maybe? the bass sounded a bit too dirty for my liking and kinda got in the way of the track if that makes sense. there is some nice edits that make the arrangement interesting enough and some very cool sounding breaks make up the track.thought the mixdown actually sounded pretty tight with the drums again smashin through the mix.although i like the dark vibe, i thought the synths sounded a bit trancey and could have been worked on a bit, but maybe just a question of personal taste
calyx ! no ? :-) i think the mixdown is almost good (better than mines :-) ) no really it sounds good, that's not my kind of dnb but it's well done. that sounds pro, the only problem i see in your tune is that i got the feeling i already have heard many similar tracks before. but i repeat this is just my personnal opinion. what fx do u use on reeces ?
