How do i make jump up wobbles in Reason 4? I don't need the exact wobbles but something that sounds like it and i hear a lot of songs on this site that use them.
maelstrom + scream 4 or subtractor + scream 4 but subtractor seems to have less punch for wobbles. listen to the track i posted in the tune section it's made wuth maelstrom + scream 4, i think it's the kind of wobble you're looking for.
and as battledrone sayed, you have to act on the cut env to do a wobble, you can just do a cut env and/or automate the cut with a lfo synced/or not on bpm.
if you don't get it i can send you a preset for example.

yeh mate, lfo's routed to filters is the way, then set them to 1/4, 1/8, 1/16,or whatever is required. Been a long time since I used reason, but with any synth this is how to do it. Once you work it out? Sorted
now bare in mind that i've only tried this technique when making dubstep sounds wobble.
really it's all about lfo, i use subtractor, simple but effective.
firstly intialize it
set osc 1 to waveform 6 bring oct down to 1
turn on osc 2 kip it on defult wave form put it to oct 3
if you want a bass wobble set freq to lp 24, and put the freq reound 50
and res to 26
if you want led wobble set it to band pass keep freq round 50 and res the same
sync lfo {so the wobble goes to the tempo of the music}, set rate amount to full and set lfo to modulate the freq {now if you set the rate wheel, lets say 3/16 it should be giving that wobble sound.
then right click the rate wheel and click edit automation
while recording speed up and slow down the rate wheel to get automation and to get the speeding up and slowing down effect of the wooble.
also ad scream4
override, P1- 1:113, P2:2.26
do some eq-ing as well. and just experiment with the sound. i've recently made one killa dnb sound with subtracter...but theres noooo way i'm gonna tell you to how to make that {it'll take to long}
as i said i've only ever tried this for dubstep.
