I have this sample I took from the film Dracula, but it has some background music on it. Anybody know how to edit that out? I have FL Studio and I've included a link to the .mp3 file. Thanks!

I used audacity to remove music from a sample (from a public domain movie) in my track "Ferocious Creatures." I selected an area where only the music was playing and set it as the noise floor. I then used the noise removal effect. It removed most of the background music.

Phase inversion:

If you have the tune that is playing in the background separately, invert the phase and play it back at the (exact) same time as the one in your sample.

It should nullify the track. Of course; effects might have been applied to the track, EQ'ing and such, so you will have to experiment a bit with it.
