hey peepz ,

i got myself a technical problem again ... when i use the writing program Nero to burn cds , i can't burn the sets that last longer than 80 minutes , unless i use overburn or something ....

but i wanted to know how i could cut the sets in two perhaps so that i can burn long sets on 2 cds ... anyone who knows how to do this ???

I'm a complete dumb-ass on these kind of things Roll Eyes

thanks in advance Bigup

You'll need a wave editor like Sound Forge or Cool Edit to cut the set in two, save it as different parts, and burn those.
If you only have to overburn a few minutes, it's quite safe to do so

There's a wave editor program included with nero to handle those things (originally called nero wave editor). Just go to nero folder in start/all programs, and you should find it in one of the subfolders. The latest version can handle almost every sound file format.

hmm , i think i did something wrong in that Nero Wave thingy :

so i selected to open the set that i wanted to cut in two , then i chose , manually define markers .... after that i just pressed on the scissor icon but nothing actually happened Confused

Strange, normally by manually define marker u will select a part of the track (dont click in the waveform zone afterwards). U can see a part is selected because it has a different colour (eg. purple on white background is selected, the rest is green on black background). Then if u click the scissors it should cut the selected part into the clipboard. (U can see this because the selected part is now gone.) Then u should be able to save the part that is left in the window, then open a new file and paste the part u have cut to the clipboard earlier, save it to another file. And then... BURN BABY, BURN Wink
