uhuh
about the cd//mp3 vs vinyl
lots of people have been discussing endlessly about that ...
i don't find it really nescessary to go on with that ... everybody has his preference.
don't know what this gemini cd player will be good for, and i won't ask ...
never understood why they kept releasing these things while u got the pioneer CDJ 1000 ....

Think the mp3 player would just be usefull for some local (booze) parties.
And instead of using the CDJ 1000 I would use the DENON DN-S5000
demonstration video

Well i think Denon released this as an answer to pioneer's CDJ1000
They are obviously all nice toys; but no treath to the sl1200 superiority =/

There will be a new version of the CDJ1000 released later this year... hopefully it will have MP3 support as well

Yeah, altho I think Final Scratch is a better option if you want to play MP3, since you have control like with vinyl then

You also have that with a CDJ1000 and it's amazing how realistic it feels, just cue and scratch using the disc in the middle
We have 10 CDJ1000's at work, and the boss will probably sell them all when the new model arrives. I told him to put two of em aside for me, love to have them funky CD players for cheap
I might consider to become a DJ too (although there already is a UK DJ called DJ Chronic, ...
)

Very nice, but I guess most DJ's will prefer the "turntabledesign" like the CDJ-1000
