Hey,

How do you make this kind of bassline exactly? Possible patch/preset would be appreciated also.

Thx in advance!

Are you talking about the bass line which kicks in at 2:01? If so its pretty simple. If you have FL Studio and Nexus create a new Nexus channel and then choose bass as the category and then Basic Pulse. Now on the left of the Nexus screen turn the Cutoff and Res all the way down and it sounds almost identical. You could also throw on the Master Filter in Nexus, and again put the Cutoff and Res all the way down, and switch the Type to bp and the slope to 24. From there add the effect Fruity Parametric EQ 2 and try messing around with those equalizers. Hope this helps. If you want I can save the file and upload it for you.

Or wait I just realized, were you talking about making the actual beat itself as oppose to the bass sound? I feel stupid.

Could you save the nexus patch as a preset perhaps and upload it here? Ableton or other synths sometimes can open other synhts presets.

Thanks!

Oh yeah.

On topic: if you are working with FL, you can save the preset - click the upper-left menu button on the plug in wrapper, and then go Save preset.

You should also be able to save your preset from within Nexus. I am working with it, but never had to do that as it almost never happens for me to share the presets I make. Pleased
