Instruments sound very midi like.
I would drop the instruments and use different ones.
This is no liquid, because it fails to groove, it sounds quite robotic.

You got the description right melodies are quite childish but im not sure its in the good way
You might want to cut the low end of all the instruments when they are playing with the sub bass,frequencies are clashing too much atm.The key instrument or whatever it is has too much resonanse and reverb,it kinda hurts my ears.Drums sound too robotic as battledrone said

the e. guitar is abit wierd though, might use better samples for that maybe.

that kind of rhodesy midi instrument is way to uniform try stick sum reverb delay etc on that that kinda trumpet sample get very annoyin after a while like the guitar in the break down sumit bit different didnt like the way the electric guitar comes on in breakdown however nice clean sub underneath everthing tho how ever i think there could have been some low cuts on certain instruments to make a bit more room 4 the sub any way keep at it man oh and by the way this song is completely out of bar if u tryed mixing this it wouldnt work
drop the xylofon tune. It fits nowhere in at all.
You can try to use a slower attack and a full sustain but like this it's going nowhere. Btw, this sounds more like ska than drum and bass
and if you won't change the xylofon sounds, drop them to at least WAY less loud than your drums and sax
Wouldnt hear it on Innovation, but on a acid rave party :-), dont like so much the second part with the guitar entrance, but the rest is great stuff, I like it !
The trompet is just fucking pstchedellic with the caroussel melody ;-)
