Please check out my new track 'Jungle Assassin' and post your comments here!

I've worked on this on/off for a month now. Trying to expand into the darker / nastier side. Had fun chopping the hell outta amens on this one Tongue which i'm sure some people on here wont like. Plz lemme know thoughts / criticisms. Its at the point now where i've listened to / tweaked it way too much.

Drums killed in the bounce. better version is here:

You got excelent amtmo but it you wish to be darker, try different pads, this is somehow too harmonic imo it doesn`t get the dark feeling that you want to point out. Bass is too low use reese. The amens sre good choise for the dark side of dnb.

Great mate!!
Love the tension building how you keep your drums on the background in the beginning. Awesome what you did to your bass.
YOu can keep listening to this all day long...
If you think about making a dark dnb song i'd use other snares.
These snares sound jungle and jungle is everything but Dark Big Grin
Overall i really liked it and you put enough of variation in it. 1 thing, too much variation is boring Big Grin it isn't boring but i'd play a chorus for a while too.
gz mate. I want to hear some more of you

I like the production of this.
The intro is well written, nice building up. The bird or cricket like sounds give it a really nice effect combined with the quiet layer of what sounds like synth strings in the back ground. The drums come in very nicley, but i think theyre a bit a quiet through out the song. the bass totally overpowers it. But i think its all written very nicely, the tones you used are nice, and the structure of the track is good too, definitely keeping it interesting all through out. Really melodic too

Heard the soundcloud version. This is one heavy tune you made here. I love the atmospheric opening and the drum programming. The sound effects blend in quite well. Decent panning. I pretty much like this style because it has feeling to it, something a lot of dnb tracks kinda lack.

Oh. My. gosh. I don't even care the drums were killed in the bounce. That bass drop is HUGE! This track is off the wall. Those Amens were chopped and arranged nicely too! And that beginning was a great buildup! Great chords, great melody, and that bass filtered in the background was the SHIT! So original, so awesome. It was nicely done! You need to send this out to some radio stations or something, like Bassdrive, or DNBradio, liveDNB.com., jungletrain, pick something. This tune is tight! Hell yeah!

Brilliant, eerie buildup, great synth design, but that bass was typical and I'm really sick of people using the amen.

Cheers for the review mate.

Sick edits on this tune mate, amen sounds very crisp and aggressive. The sub is a little too loud, might wanna tone it down a bit. Also, I don't personally find the atmosphere dark enough - needs more FX and different pad chords. Otherwise, wicked jungle tune, you assassinated it mate. Wink
