Nice track, I think you could do a better intro though. The wobble bass use would be better kept back for the drop. It had lost its impact to early.
4 mins in. Tell the truth, I think you need some more elements to the track, it getting a bit boring really. The use of effect are pretty good, but you need some more changes.
Not bad.

I like this because of the mostly because of the vocals. In my opinion I think we can use more dnb like this. So far I am enjoying this song. The structure is okay, but it stayed the same through out the whole song, maybe a little plain imo. The bass and drums seems to fit pretty well. I feel like it could use some extra instruments like some strings, pad, etc to give it some variation or add some emotion, Kinda like Blu-Never felt like this before (LM1 remix). Overall, I think its a pretty awesome song you got there. Better than what I can produce.

Pretty harsh responce Additive. I didn't say your song is rubbish, in fact I said it was a 'nice track'.
In My opinion, the tune could be improved and have some more variation. As you may have noticed, someone else has said the same thing. If you didn't want honest feedback, then you should of said so.
As for DJ Friendly, the only time I have heard that in dnb is with Dj Friendly vinyl, which just means it is made of a softer/flexible plastic and is less likely to scratch. If a dj is any good, why would they need 'DJ Friendly tunes' they never used to. I've never come across any in the 12 years I bought hardcore, jungle and dnb. Could 'DJ Friendly' be a new government scheme for dj's who are challenged at getting two tracks to run in time?
After all, a tune is meant to be something to enjoy, not a break on a piece of plastic to practice your beat matching to.
I'm sorry I offended you

hey brucifer I've gotta agree with you now. I may have misinterpreted what you meant.
in terms of variation and buildup though, how the track is, is how I wanted the track to be.
By DJ Friendly, I didn't explain what I meant at all. When playing a record in a set, I suppose you have a limited amount of time for a track. You don't want a track to chop and change too much if you're doing a short set with short tracks. So you want to have all the ideas out reasonably quickly, so you can switch to the next track. If you're doing a 4 hour set, you might want to play the whole 5 mins (or even longer) of a track before switching. It's not about beatmatching or anything like that.
More elements I think would have confused the track, and lost the vibe.
Regards

Im Listening on studio quality headphones and it sounds very clean and very tidy.
Everything sits well in the stereo field overall except maybe the bass wobble (not the sub) that is being filtered in and out and remains constant though out is too wide in the stereo field and feels detached from the rest of the track slightly.
Maybe tweak it more and more in to the center of the stereo field until it melts in with the rest of the track/sub bass.
There is also too much vocal for my liking, its a great vocal but its a little repetetive so it needs to be broken up much more in the middle of the track, maybe just after the initial drop.
I enjoyed the track overall, I like the little drum roll in to the drum loop very clean sounding with a nice timber.
A second drop with a diferent hook would make it feel less repetitive maybe as there is very little pattern progression from most of the instruments.
The drum loop sits nicely in the sound field as does the vocal and all of the percussion sounds.
Hope this is useful, this is my first review on the site so your feedback on my comment is welcomed too.

Wow!! I just did this and it brings the track together beautifully, and separates out the other important elements by default! Thank you!
As far as the vocal goes, I'm personally really happy with it, and I don't want to do anything with it.. but thanks for the suggestions.
I did decide to keep it rather minimalistic throughout, so I don't know that I want to vary the second drop any more than it is. I did take out the vocal from the beginning of the second drop, and also altered AFTER the second drop with some really nice dirty wobble.
I agree - this is one of the BEST constructive reviews I've ever read! Especially the bit about the width of the bass wobble!
Thanks!

its all good man, i was reading through the comments, sometimes the reviewers can be a little harsh.. but then again they are having to try harder to find the negatives in what is already a great tune. noticed my mix was on your site
thanks for that btw
