As soon as phazzy said liquid funk I had to take a listen. This tune sounds very very nice and also has great melodies , but why why why the mono, you're making me cry.

well i`m redoing the drums i don`t like them because it`s the firefight1 loop from the loop pack located on this site...i like the loop and everything...just get tired of using it...i`m trying to make the beat more standard....because i want to to have more energy...
you know ghosts on 5 and 13 rather than 5 and 15
more direct...plus the damn thing is a bitch to EQ using reason.....even tried exporting channels in pairs to acid....i dunno i think i should just buy cubase.....and a RAM stick.....ha...but since ya like it so much i`ll reupload it in stereo and increase the bit rate

If you buy Cubase, one tip: Don't go for the SX version. The SL version is exact the same, withouth some support for some hardware you can't afford anyway. The functionality is all there, and it costs half as much. And it's a GREAT tool!

Haven't really practiced mastering in Cubase yet, just starting out with it too
The more tracks, the more difficult to do a good mastering indeed. Try making your song so that you don't have too many tracks playing in the same frequency range, this will make your track sound more ballanced and mastering will be a lot easyer.

i thought about this...
exporting individual tracks into acid and then re-sequencing them in acid...don`t think this would make too much difference tho because of frequencies

Nope. You have to think about that frequency stuff while making the track...

yeah, cubase is awesome for mastering...i sequence everything in acid, then bounce down to cubase for mixdown...makes a huge difference in sound quality...

oh yeah, i forgot to mention...if you were to get cubase, you can rewire reason into cubase (the cubase engine is more powerful and just plain sounds cleaner than reason)...

Illuminati asked me to remove this track. He's going to upload a new version!
