I think noone of us knew all the technical details and terms when we first started producing. Give people a chance to learn. About the reverb: maybe you just used samples that sound like they have a reverb for some reason. Sometimes it is just hard to tell effects from samples if you don't know the source material. If you didn't produce the track yourself, it's impossible to know every element in it. Even if a review makes no sense to you, it sure did to the person who wrote it, so try to find out what he/she possibly meant. __ The mysteries of the distorted snare...
