Please check out my new track 'Discovery 1' and post your comments here!
This is a liquid style tune I made a few weeks back. It was actually inspired by some of the dubs I heard Dj Marky play when I saw him live in Toronto a bit back...Amazing Dj! Unfortunately, I got a real bad virus on my comp and it is completely crippled. I don't have back ups of some of my new work so I'm not sure if I'm gonna get a chance to finish this one. For the time being I'm stuck as far as production goes. Its driving me crazy!! Anyway - Let me know what you think guys! Bless.

Loving the percussions mate
Im listening on crappy headphones (+low volume) and cant really tell you if the snares n kicks hit right.I think the intro is lacking something, maybe a background sound or a pad or something else to go with the main stab melody. The wobbly bass is simple, but it works fine in this case.
Lovin those vocals and percussive background adlibs.
On the headphones mix sounds ok i guess..

yea, agree the percussion is well done. Drop @ 1:55-ish coulda been a little more dramatic. A quick rest b4 the beat drops may help. The drop at 3:20-ish is more climatic IMO. On my set up, snare's a little overbearing and it seems like the drums may be a bit squashed in general- kick seems to be lacking that low-end thuddy-ness. but otherwise this is pretty money. Well done mate. DJ Marky's great inspiration.

Really good production, love those bongos, it has a really nice flow to it. I loved those snares, beats are really good aligned and snares fit nicely into the whole track... the atmosphere is really chilled and yet it makes you move...build up i didn't like so much, but i am a person of more longer and dramatic build ups. the song keeps you "awake" from start to the end, some producers make rather doll beats and melodys...the bass could be little more distorted but then again that's my dark mind... keep the really great work m8...cheers..

Love the sound that comes in at 30 seconds in, very uplifting, smoothe bassline, nice rolling movement to this one, best one I've heard on here so far. Reminds me bit of high constrast, sigma, london electricty, very sweet roller. This would be a great tune for the begining of a set or mid way in a liquid set. Really keeps the vibe uplifted.
no comments to add, I'd say leave it as it is. Maybe work some more on the EQ, bit of compression but never over used. Just to bring more warmth to this, but sweet no bad comments here.

nice drums in intro, nice vibe, track could benefit with that vocals turned up in volume. Nice upcoming ravy synth, drums are tight. Indeed marky vibe. But think the bass can get more ravyness, like a saw that flows beneath it, just an ideaa.
