I almost never ask for help over synthesizing sounds, I am always trying to remake them by myself (or do something similarly good sounding) etc. but I've been trying for a week now, to create the same type of wobble (?) bass Sub Focus made in his remix of 'Could this be real' song.
It starts at 1:07 and then again at 2:35
I am noticing the subtle lfo timings of the filter, and I can do them (or something similar), but I am far from achieving the same bass growl sound. Oh, and I cannot figure out how is the filter set up, so that it gives, hmm, watery efectt? I am using Sytrus for this. If anyone has any tips towards the -sound- of the bass, I'd be happy to read them. Of course, sampling comes out of the question.

Thank you for your responses. I almost managed to achieve the same sound in Sytrus, and I hate because Sytrus' envelope for the filter lfo is so hard to control!
I will try in another synth to see how it would come off. Or maybe install Massive at the end
If I succeed, I guess I might copy the patch here for everyone.
Thanks again.

yer deffo a massive sound and like u say we know he uses it, i attually made a very simalr sound wiv styrus, but if u can get close wiv styrus u deff nail it wiv massive and prob cum up wiv sum wicked diffrent sounds while u tryin to do it.
That IS massive, id say their are two instances of massive going down and one of, started as "brutal electro" patch, different wavetable, synced lfo with subfocus magic onit mate... Sorry.
