Help support a movement to stop the BBC Asian Network taking away the great show Electroeast hosted by Nerm.
Nerm has announced there are only 5 shows left so we must act fast!!
This show brings in a multicultural audience.
It’s not only Asians that listen to this show its people all over the world from all different cultures.
Surely this can only be a good thing for the Asian Network??
No other show attracts such a diversity of cultures whether listeners or guests!!
Support this group and let’s save the show we all love!!
Put my official complaint in to the BBC a couple days back, Nerm has supported my music on his show for a good few months now and its really sad to hear they want to pull it.
Electro East brings in a very diverse audience and plays such a wide variety of dnb from big names, up and coming producers to fusion underground music that always gets me tuning in, its only 2hrs as well, its not asking much to keep it on the airwaves!
We’re sorry if you’re disappointed that 'Electro East' is ending. The programme has been running on the BBC Asian Network for nearly four years. We regularly refresh our schedules and it's not unusual for programmes to change or finish. Our commitment to specialist music is unchanged as can be seen elsewhere in our output, notably Bobby Friction (Mondays to Thursdays at 10pm), DJ Kayper (Fridays at 10pm), and Panjabi Hit Squad and Mic Check on Saturday evenings.
BBC Asian Network
So it looks like they are serious about it.
