I've 'converted my religion' to Reason 4, and I've noticed that Propellerheads have done this majorly retarded thing in it. Whenever I wanna draw some notes, I have to draw a group etcetera... can I turn it off? It's a pain in the a-
Oh and whenever I create a device it has a patch already loaded in, how can I set it so that it always starts off as Init Patch or empty? Many thanxx

1/ no, you can't turn it off. In the beginning i thought it was awkward as well, but after a while it became a handy tool.

2/ all you have to do is RIGHT MOUSE CLICK + INITIALIZE PATCH
or, you can make a template song with nothing but different empty modules in it

okay thanks but I need it so that the Redrum is always on on empty patch when I load it, otherwise I spend ages having to move from folder to folder...

It is simple, just go to "Edit" then "Preferences" and un-check "Load Default Sound in New Devices"
