Please check out my new track 'Binary' and post your comments here!
Thanks for all the comments from the last track i posted. This is what i need your opinions on this week. Not that long but i think it gets my point accross. Been working on the eq's. No vocals in this one. My dude Diggadee Mc said i should add more vocals. It was an experiment. I been bangin out left and right lately. Id post a new track every day if i could.
I fyou ever in nyc make sure to hit up Camoflage drum N bass With Christian Bruna. Camonyc.com
Drums seem to be playing double.
Good atmospheres.
Leave out vocals and other fancy stuff for now, concentrate on your drums and some basslines.
How did you do your drums? It seems like you didn't uses a slicer for them...

I really like the spooky atmosphere attatched to this track because it draws you in and gives great pictures for the imagination. The drums could be simplified a little but thats not too much of a problem. However, this track lacks a bassline and because of the atmosphere of the song, it should't be too hard to create one. Its way too short aswell and has no wow factor so i think it needs more work. I do see potential in this though, and i think if you make a new version with a groovy bassline and some extra sound effects, it would sound quite cool.
I'm really digging you atmospherics / pads. Def create a good vibe with those. I know this is just an idea you were throwing out there so i'd imagine you'd add some drops & diff bass lines, etc.
As for the extra snares. That could be cool. A few of them sound cool, but some just sound a little off. I've heard a few tracks with lots of interesting snare work before. There are tons, but two that come to mind now are:
Dom & Rolland's Jedi (from his most recent album)
Sub Focus's World of Hurt (during the darker parts)
hope this helps. keep it up mate, this can be really good.
intros nice n dark,
but theres some thing wrong with the beats or the layering of the beats.
the editing of the break is good tho,and has that jungley flavour,
but because the layers are off, or doubled up, or what ever happened to them,
its now messy, and as stated sounds like a bad dj mix.
perhaps its the actual kick n snare samples that are off in the 1st place,
take a look in an audio editor like soundforge or audacity to see if those elements are hitting right at the start, edit then reinsert them in to your project.
this is better than your the 1st one i heard of yours,
just tidy up the beats and work on a nice bassline and your half way there.
peace n chips n that.
__ m-ej is taking a few steps back from forum life.
beginning sounds dope, love what ya did whit that!
than the drums come in...
will be honest man I dont dig them, they sounds to much overdone, do this in like a dark part of the song, and the rest normal breakbeats and stuff
cause these drums are oke but not for the whole song.
sill nice one
the mixing sounds good though, but idk my ears arent good enough to judge that yet I guess
