Please check out my new track 'Shoot My Goo' and post your comments here!
Ok this is my 1st track. Its somethin i bin puttin 2gether thelast few days, its nowhere near complete. The breaks are from the battledrone breaks samples, so big up battledrone. Trying to make my own at the mo but failin miserably. Anyway, here goes!
Forget to say, the sudden ending is coz its not complete. Just wanted to kno wot people think so far, and any advice for improvement, Peace.

nice attempt mate whole track sounds pretty empty got some good variation but sounds like its just jumpin from 1 place to another if i was u i would lose that saw bass its hard on the ears maybe jus play with it a bit and make it more listenable drums need many more layers especially snare good 1st try needs a lot of work would like to hear next progression of this track

Great drums!
The main idea behind that breakspack is to layer on some extra stuff to give it your own identity. The whole thing is pretty minimal, needs some more elements (unless ofcourse you were going for minimal). The middle part has a different break, this a bit weird. It's cool to fire a different break every 8 bars or so, but not just do a part with a different break. Also programming variations on the breaks would make them better.
The bass in the middle part is simply a pretty boring, non processed sample. You should do some processing on those samples to make more tune and less "collection of samples". But if my first tune was only half this good I would have been really proud of myself.
Keep'm comming!

Nice attempt for a first track mate, it's going in a jump up direction from what I can hear so have a listen to to other producers and see what they're doing with their drums in terms of what's going on. Try layering up a few breaks with different characteristics you like and use EQ to bring them out, eg. I think a load of splashy hi-passed cymbals would add a lot of dimension to your beat. As for bassline, you seem to have cracked the basics, it's all now about experimenting! Good job.
