Hey there.. Well this is COMPLETELY different... It was a nice vocal, and I couldn't resist having a bit of fun with it... Track isn't finished by any stretch of the imagination... not sure whether I will finish it. It's very happy clappy, and doesn't lend well to DnB, but it's a bit of light-hearted fun. Keen to know if anyone in the world thinks I should finish it though

the vocal really doesnt fit sorry mate (but i think u knew that)it did make me laugh though it sounds like a song from the team america film or sumit jus take the vocal out and carry on with the tune

The only way to go with this vocal is Sambass (Brazilian DnB), very accoustic instruments, avoid synths. Take out a bit of low end of the vocal.
The basses after 1:40 should be avoided like hell. Bad idea. The echo on the vocal sounds a bit naked and too defined. Around 2:20 there's a part with just bongo's, that's way too empty.
In it's current form it doesn't work for me, but I admire your choice to try something new.

Yeah the vocal is wicked and if you went and solely used real instruments and worked around the basis that it could be performed live then I reckon you'd be onto something 
The guitar at the moment sounds like it's been recorded through youtube, did you play it? I'd definitely record that thru a nice mic to give it a bit of clarity and definition, it just needs that pro sheen to it Catchy as hell man, think you should finish it

Nice idea, nothing wrong with originality and trying new ideas. Personally, i dont think the vocals work with a dnb track, maybe a dance tune tho. And the bongo's in the middle are a bit plain and flat, they could definatly do with a bit of attention. Overall the idea is new and original, i would say finish it (I never like dumpin a tune wivout finishing, put in the work and get the result), but maybe do a few versions and see which fits best. Maybe with a different beat and a bit of playing round with the vocals it could work.
