im glad everyone shares my view they have tried to drive it the dubstep root but that gap is filled .i hate it.the fact it gets air time makes my blood boil however, there was 1 good 1 in 2005 i think.chase and status duppy man great track . the rest bullshit hazard tactix is so shit wicked so is even worse.i thought everyone was sayin is this a joke because every1 hated drumstep like me not because theyed never heard of it......soooooo what does everyone think of expressive progressive tribal house. lololol
hmm not to sure what i actually think of the tunes i just find it funny how we have yet another 'step' genre. Im sure theres a you lad out there listening to tunes wainting to here something slightly unconventional so that he can be the one to start of this whole new genre lol.
As long as they are good tunes then it's all good, the jury is still out though. Agreed on the unnecessary genre creation on the slight whisper of a new sound. Surely if it has a twisty bassline.. it's still Neuro!? I'm still not sure why it can't all just be called drum n bass and leave it at that. this genre is in the exact same place dubstep was 5-6 years ago. its still really fresh and has no solid definition. all junglists should be getting on this and moving it forward imo because this is what is going to bring dnb back to where it was.
a lot of cats jumped ship for dubstep once they really started to pump out the hard grimey tunes. once you get a track in the genre that really takes off youll have a defined drumstep sound but untill then we are going to have fun
