Well, finally got my producers rights... And I've been making dnb (only got fl studio 8 this summer, garageband before that) and been listenin n stuff on these forums n such. Im glad I could finally upload sumthin.
hope ya like it, its kinda neurofunkish twistybass, inspired by spor's bullet time remix.
Ending isnt really finished
btw its made on fl studio 8, and id really appreciate reviews and stuff (especially about the snare, always have trouble with the snare...)

snares sound bit weak beef that shit up some kind of compressed tape distortion would work like twisty bass sound workin really well make for a good groove . i got bullet time spor rmx on 12" great track uv carried along that style pretty well . think the drums could do with a little bit of attention some more breaks would b kool keep at it mate nearly there
That snare is a typical FL snare, you might want to use it for layering, but not as only snare.
I like the intro, but it seems like the tune is just a long intro. This impression is the result of a pretty weak drop at 28" and all those pitching sounds that build tension all the time, I'd expect a drop any second, but it doesn't happen. Hihats are a bit too loud, bass needs more power. The melody in the second drop (after the breakdown) doesn't fit on the bassline all that well. Tune has potential, just fix your levels and creat a good phat drop. Welcome on board :bigup

Thanks.
Ive got pretty much everything stacked against me though with regard to mastering (sounds great to me on my headphones but apparently it sounds crappy to other people on the internet?). I was hopin people would review the content of the song mostly :/
well i look at all aspects of song and production mate im playin this on lous monitors and thats what im gettin headphones are good to an extent but u need to run thriugh system as well to get a good feel of mix and sub basses etc
Wicked sounds in here, although the snare is weak as wee. Layer it up with something with a bit more punch and bite and it'll sound sweet. If you're going for a big Spor drum sound (although it's deffo important to do your own thing
) maybe parallel compress your beats. Also I was expecting a huge drop with all those risers and tension building effects and it never came.. gotta admit I was a little dissapointed! Sick bassline tho, twists up properly
ello mate.
Great sounds and ideas here, my advice for snare, layer it with a harder more bassy snare or can use a little kick to make the difference in layer, i love those twisted basses, melodies are v.good and sound fx is good as well, soundwise cant say much i listen it on poo-poo headphones, anyway, fine tune here,
big ups,
Thanx a bunch guys for giving me tips on improving. My main weak point is on build-ups/drops im thinking so I'll work on those. By parallel compression u mean indivually compressing snare sounds and then layering the compressed ones im guessing.
