Please check out my new track 'The Robot' and post your comments here!
With every tune I made I got reviews saying: "nice oldskool sound" so I thought I'd try something different and make a nu skool brainless dancefloor smasher for a change. Don't forget to scream along with the vocals...
Made in 2 night sessions, one to lay out the main track and one to fix it, mix it, tweak it, tweak it some more, master it, ...
I never made a tune with this many edits and automation going on.
Done in FL7. Hope you like it.
PS: before people start to complain that it starts right away without any intro or stuff, this is DJ friendly format, drums from the start so you can easily mix it.

Ok,lets start with the beginning .
Like that wob sound, and the drums are nicely programmed, sound very nice. Maybe a little more punch on the kick and snare will be a better choice and make song groovier .
..well,it's very repetitive,i was expecting a huge drop and then some heavier sounding wobbles and stuff, but it continued with the intro. Maybe it's because of the drums, they give a big tension to the whole song.
Like the vocals tho, but they could also be heavier, like the whole song. It's purpose is to blow your mind off and triggers you on for dancing. Maybe it's just me or this is too soft, but good for mixing.
Overall
-drums ok
-better drop
-variations needed
-heavier sound

No offence mate but wudnt call it a dancefloor smasher n fink u need sum more twisted n mentaller basses 2 make it sound proper nu-skool.personally this still has a reasonably relaxed n old-skool feel 2 it.dont wana take nuffin away from u tho-it IS a good well produced track but i jus rekon u cud do wiv experimentin wiv sum better more flexible synths to get a more nu-skool jump-up tune.2 b fair aswell u sed u made the whole fing in 2 nites-it shows-tune dus get very repetitive.overall good mixdown n eq'in as per but cud be a lot mor intrestin in my opinion.

Do agree on the topic of variation (lazyness hit me
) but I was trying to avoid twisted bass bizz because I wanted to make a "light" tune, more on the liquid side of jump up.
My tunes always seem to roll out in 1-2 nights, if I don't have a tune after that amount of time I might as well throw the project away, because it isn't going anywhere. Those night sessions are very very long though. Yesterday I had one from 9pm until 3am (getting up at 7 hurts).

Ye have noticed quite a lot ur tunes ar on the sorta light side(stylewise)-thats jusur style i spose-do kno wot u mean tho-love those long 8hour + sessions trus me i do enuff of em
but ye at end of day at least u can say uv got a signature style-not a bad fing at all!!
don't mind dj friendly start as I think it is right thing to do if you trying to let your track to be heard.
About track, I woould like some more sounds please, it might be my taste only but i think it is to empty, and mid bass line is to much separated from the rest it is just to much above everything else, maybe just put the level a tad down ? Drums are ok, I'm not the biggest fan of those vocals. Overal, for my taste it is a good foundation for great track, Bass melody is great track is just missing that "thing" I hope you wont hate me

Let's start a war or something...

Seems I've been voted down again. My tune must be utterly bad according to the score it got. Just compare my tune to the tunes that have a higher score and see if this is fair.

its not a bad tune bd,
just a bit un-expected from what you've put out before.
i was expecting deep n twisted warped out basses,
and sweet intricate edits,
but this is quite pleasant ,and dancey.
i feel the sub could be a little more prominent (personal preference),
beats are v nice (but id expect nothing less from .be's resident "breaks doctor").
nice lickle track m8.

I like the way it just drops right in. The whole intro thing can be over used and over rated. Love the bass lin to this trax it had me bobbin my head! The vocals and synths work well with this trax it added juast the right amount of additude it needed to what is a vary basic DnB Drum ride. All in all great vibe and without a doubt a dance floor shaker. Its a little repitive but o well it didnt bother me that much. All I can say is keep makeing music you want to hear and that your happy with because thats all that matters!

Sorry Anarky, sure your a nice bloke and can produce great tunes but I gotta ask why you write like a retard, is this nuskool or something? I must be an old cunt but your writing makes you look like a right tool mate..
