ok, I did the unthinkable and bought an iPod Touch.
Been messing with it for a couple of hours.
I hate apple!
The machine is pretty nice, but they expect me to give credit card info just to be able to install some free apps. They are out of their fucking minds.
Anyone experienced with jailbreaking? What are the do's and don'ts?
What should I put on? Any tips welcome.
And yeah, I know an iPod Touch isn't strictly DJ Gear, but I didn't know where else to post this.

Visit www.modmyi.com - a massive community for mac stuff, they have tutorials on jailbreaking iPods and iPhones etc.
You can also visit http://blog.iphone-dev.org/ , the blog of Dev Team, the guys working at the best jailbreaking apps at the moment.
Can't recall many more as I learned my phone couldn't swim a year and a half ago, but you'll surely manage on these sites.

i got a touch the other month i downloaded an app called beatmaker which cost me 12 quid id like to add given the chance now i would nt have purchased beat maker and its meant to be the best sequencer daw music production suit..........bollox althought there is a free app called errr let me c jus type in drum n bass and it comes up u get a pre chopped amen and can arrange how u want and a preset bass tone with a keyboard which is pretty cool or the ijunglistlite again free and fun
