Sorry to hear that mate, i dont really know to behonest. There isnt anything more you can do if youve changed the fuse and lead, and youd void your warranty removing the cover anyway so i wouldnt bother mate. Youve done enough as an end user to intiate a repair or replacement. Your either have to take it to get serviced and/or send it to the manufacture for repair. Check your returns gurantee from the outlet you bought it in and/or manufactures warranty card that came with the product for more information.
Unlucky dude.

Well I suppose at least one of them works!
Thanks for your help, I think I might take it to a music/electronic shop to see if anything can be done. Hope it won't cost a lot though...

hmmm a bit late now!
I did plan on getting some Technics; and went looking on eBay, but even then they were pretty expensive, it's ridiculous!

actually, that reminds me; do Technics have an instant start when you press play? Mine are belt driven and they take a moment to get up to the right speed

jeez yours have been running for over 2 years; yet one of mine lasted only for 2 hours...
How often would you recommend replacing the stylus?

if you have only just got them for christmas, dont touch them, take them straight back to where you got them with the reciept and get them to exchange it or send it off for repair. Its probably faulty wiring, maybe a loose connection, but as c0rksteria says you will invalid your warranty. i had to take back a gemini cdj that i bought my girlfriend last year and they just swapped it for a new one as it would switch on

haha, typos occur at the worst times...
Anyway it's good advice, I'm supposed to be getting mine picked up by a courier; I wish he/she would hurry up though!
They shall call me 'The One-Deck Deejay'
