Black Sun Empire 5. Audio 6. Spor 7. Ewn 8. Counterstrike 9. Limewax 10. Raiden 11. Panacea Those I just listed aren't in any particular order......I just would like to see who you thought is the hardest in the whole Darkstep Genre. Feel free to list someone I haven't mentioned above. As far as who I listen to the most, I will say that Donny, Audio, Current Value and Limewax would all be towards the top of the list and Ewun and Spor would be towards the bottom. Some people probably won't agree with my thoughts on darkstep, but to me, Current Value is always pushing the darkstep envelope - it seems like every time artists start catching up to the ideas and structures he has pioneered he is already releasing tunes that are two or three steps ahead of his previous work. Its insane what sort of stuff he is coming up with. Lucio de Rimanez also deserves massive respect, he is pushing the envelope for darkstep too. Some people think he is a CV clone but he has a very unique style and very creative drum patterns that are usually always identifiable as a sound of his own. Other artists on the list definitely do darker DnB.. but I wouldn't classify it as darkstep. For example Raiden and Panacea both have huge techno influences that other artists like Ewun and Spor lack.. they're all good at what they do though, big ups to everyone. 29-12-2009 07:08 BattleDrone 2161... the future.
