Just out of interest, which producers use Reason? I want to hear some Reason tracks, so I can get an idea for the sorts of sounds you can create with it ... and also to see what's possible!
there was a rumor that current value was using it, i think random movement has made tunes in it, so has alix perez, quite a few, nu tone, logistics, london electricity. the list is probably endless, i suspect a lot more people use it than would like to admit.

So should I be ashamed that I use Reason?? Like being ashamed of a gay porn collection? haha
Nothing to be ashamed off! (that gay porn not included)
Even Liam Howlett from the Prodigy uses it (he uses it alongside logic). And he kind of is a breaks grandmaster, no? Can't really imagine a drum and bass producer who would say not to be inspired by him...
Although, I do think reason misses some important features (like audio track support, vst support and a spectrum analyzer). I think proppelheads record can a great addition for reason users (or perhaps just cubase or logic).
well no that was a pretty shocking analogy tbh
and if its what you use its what you use, as long as your comfortable with it and make great tunes what does it matter what other people think
yup I use Reason as well (for about 99% of my production process, the remaining 1% of Cubase i use is just for separate audio processing / chopping etc)
as far as big name producers using Reason i know of - Logistics, Audio, Icicle (even tho he rewires to Logic after that), Beecee, Lomax, Cooh
also my good friends Zeal & Litta use Reason, check out their tunage think the quality speaks for itself really
anyways i'm sure everyone has their own favourite DAW, its all about how u use it!
It's funny how people base their daw choice on the choice of well known producers.
I'm sure there are people that make similar music to tech itch with FL studio, Cubase, Pro-tools,... too. Pick a tool that works for you.
__ Check my soundcloud (exclusive tracks on there)
haha yeah, but I suppose it's more motivating if you know that artists you like use the same software as you do... maybe I can get some cool sounds that way... lol
