hi everyone!

my pc is about to flatline... so ill have to buy a new one.
as im not a pc whiz maybe you can give some advice?

for programms ill only work with reason 4, cubas 3 and maybe adobe photoshop...

so heres the setup of the new pc:

MOTHERBOARD:
MSI G31TM-P35/MS-7529 mATX
chip set: Intel G31
plug-in position: 1xPC EXPRESS x16, 2xPCI
2x DDR-2 RAM plug-in position: PC667/800 (max. 8GB)

Prozessor: Intel® Core™ 2 Quad Prozessor Q8300 (2,5GHz, 4MB L2 Cache)
Hard disc: 1 TB SATA II
Random access memory: 4 GB DDR2 PC800
Graphic board: VGA PCI-Express ATI Radeon™ HD4850 1GB
Sound: 7.1 support
(but i got an external sound card "m-audio fasttrack pro)
Software: Windows® 7 Home Premium

Looks good to me. I don't know the motherboard and it's a bit strange that it supports DDR2 instead of DDR3. This does not make any difference though in practice, DDR2 is perfect for producing music.
