Lets say I have a reece sample(for argument sake) I press a key and it plays the sample. What I want to be able to do is when I release the key it plays the sample backwards preferably from the point in the sample that the key is released but if not no probs. And I have no idea if it would work !!!! Couldn't you draw in some automation for the device in question after the notes have been let go to change the play mode to reverse !? In Reason we have the nn-xt sampler that has various modes and it has one that plays forwards then backwards so I suppose if the sample was short enough and you use a large release then it would play forward and then reverse.
