Hey peep0l!
I got some samples from a horror movie
(Return To House On Haunted Hill) and I am looking for a nice pad, bassline, and drums for it.
I use FL, F.Y.I. ^^
For the drums and pads, I really like Ketz' work, he's really an inspiration to me, and we talked about colabing, although we use difference DAW's. What I like about his drums is, they don't sound all cheap, they're just.. I dunno how to explain it, I just really love those drums! (http://myspace.com/ketzdnb) If you don't know what I am talking about, have a listen to some of his choons.
And the bassline, I would like something that fits a horror movie. I've linked to a sample of what I have.
Also, feel free to mention some good VST's for this.

Thanks guys!

my exact thoughts...
If you're looking for advice on sample choice then go searching the forum for relevant threads, there's enough gems hidden in there believe me.
This isn't a DnB Custom-Build Shop, you have to do the searching yourself. And why wouldn't you want to, say everybody chips in and gives you all the elements to make the track you want. The end product sounds excellent but the end product isn't YOUR work.
Be a little more creative and maybe a little more subtle when asking for advice on writing a tune.

Eeeeheheheheheheh, I can see that you guys dont understand what I am asking. I am not asking you to make the choon for me, I was asking if you could request some good synths to make a bassline that would fit the samples. Srsly, would you mind thinking about what I am asking, instead of just flaming? I was REQUESTING, a good SYNTH, that would sound good with these samples. THAT, has NOTHING to DO, with you making it for me.
Se-Ri-Ou-S-LY.
I laughed at Cynik & Puzzle's jokes, thats just funny, but Ghost, the sarcasm wasnt really working mate. Glim, read the above, pl4Wkz.
Tbh, IMO, Sentinel's post was in my opinion, the best post in this thread. He was the only one being polite about it.
KTHXBYE.

I got both z3ta and Massive. I used Massive for the bassline of my first song.
But what I dont get is: Spor makes some basslines, that I have never heard in any synth. Does he program them himself?
I dont know anything about synthezising, I just turn the knobs left and right.
When I get home, I'll have a try again. Thanks mate.

Not asking for much there then.
The tone of your original post implies you're asking for just about all the elements of a DnB track. I was not under the impression you were expecting it being MADE for you, you clearly think that sample gathering should be done by other headz not you..
lol
nevermind..

Whenever you drag a sample into the step sequencer, you get a sampler. Or go channels -> add one -> generator -> sampler.

nobody was flaming, Ghost prolly didnt get any candy last nite but in truth nothing was that insulting. what you should do is formulate your questions better
after listening to the samples I still dont understand what you want though as anything can go over them, not exactly a piece of music to wander what kind of bass or drums could do

Hahah, yeah, I'm sorry then.
I dunno why, I just think that those samples would pwn in a DnB song.
I mean srsly, Spor made a DnB song with sounds from games (1 Up), so as I see it, its not only possible, it could really turn out to something.

Spor works in FL, and he makes his basses in 3xOSC. You definitely do NOT need a big synth to make a big bass. Everyone will tell you that.

And I’m afraid you won’t find factory presets that sound like spor basses either.
