Presonus Studio One stetches samples automatically to fit your tune ...

Could use Recycle and .rex the samples !?

Or just seek out samples that fit.

www.ccmixter.org is a good place to look for acapellas if you don't mind the fact that you can't use them commercially.

I had the same problem a while back and insted of stretching the samples which can be done in an audio edit cut/program
like sony soundforge/audacity/adobe audition(cool edit pro) etc ...
I prefer to cut the samples up into many different parts(sections) or cut them word for word and then I can just add them into a track wherever I feel they will fit.
Do a touch of processing, some eq, add some fx and voila.

hmm try putting the metronome on or a beat so you can get a feel for things, also you should timestretch the sample to 1/2 bar or a bar etc, but not an 'odd number' if you get me. Sometimes timestretching it too much can make it sound metallic and 'gritty', so maybe you can use this to your advantage.
There is also a pitch shift, select the recorded audio, right click, and it'll be in a list somewhere. If your sample is of, for example, someone saying a sentence, you could try cutting the recorded audio right before each word starts, and then timestretchin' it or even moving words into different order.
Hope this helps!
