I personally don't buy any sample packs at all. I only download free ones from quality sites like this one

producerloops have some really good stuff. i purchase packs that contain mainly one shot drums, and they are really high quality. they help your drums sound really good. all their stuff is of the highest quality, and not too expensive either. Wether you use one shots or prefer pre programmed loops I recommend them for sure. Just be sure to download the mp3 samples of the packs to be sure it is the flavour you are after, you cant go wrong then!
