AnnGree - jungletrain.net promomix november 2009
AnnGree started spinning the decks in 2007. She likes all sorts of Drum & Bass styles but prefers the deep and techy sound, so she mostly plays Neurotech, Neurofunk, Techstep and Technoid.
She's originally from Moscow (Russia), but is now living in London. Her DJ career has grown pretty fast. She has already played with well-known Russian DJs Sintax, Liza K, Salamandra, Xpander, Master, Slim Si and with other DJs from around the world such as Cooh, Mutated Forms and Over-X. She also performed at Therapy Sessions in 2007, which took place in Moscow with Dylan, Faith in Chaos, Audio. AnnGree has received support from many artists including Rico & Scoop, Kiro, Celerity, Kryteria, Nevroz, Vortech, Ketz, TaskHorizon, DeFKT, Hemoglobin, Flame, Vortex Involute, Sintax and many more.
Recently she has started producing her own tunes. Her influences are Spor, Audio, Panacea, BSE, Bad Company, Cause 4 Concern, Future Prophecies, Noisia, Unknown Error, Axiom, Nphect, Dizplay, Dom & Roland, Ed Rush, Optical, Calyx, SPL, Subfocus, Kryptic Minds & Leon Switch, Loxy, Phace, Stakka & Skynet, Evol Intent, TZR, and Concord Dawn. She has now earned herself a place at Dangerous New Age Recordings.
In 2009 AnnGree became a weekly resident on jungletrain.net. She hosts the "Vertigo" show, where she's playing some of the scenes finest new dubs and tunes, from her new home Dangerous New Age Recordings, and of course, some other great tracks from Mindtech Recordings, Wayside Recordings, Ammunution Recordings, etc.
This mix reflects her personal favorites and what, in her opinion, are the best of the best tunes in recent releases; the mix includes some well-known tracks along with unreleased ones. The mix includes some killer tracks with frenetic basslines and massive synths - tunes that make her heart go boom! Hope you'll enjoy it!

Broadcasting since 2001, jungletrain.net is a 24/7 drum & bass internet radio with ~50 LIVE shows a week. With ~100 DJs from around the world, the station showcases a variety of styles and sub-genres, with a focus on the deeper and more "subverted" sounds of drum & bass.
PROMOMIX SERIES
The jungletrain.net promomix series has been published monthly since December 2004. Each mix showcases a different jungletrain.net DJ, offering a taste of his/her show on jungletrain.net. Starting in October 2009 the promomix series began to also feature an occasional special edition "engineers" mix, featuring dubplates and unreleased tracks from jungletrain.net producers and affiliated labels.
