Hi all, i wanna ask you about Stereo and mono setting what should be in stereo and what in mono?


subbas
bass
kick snare
break
hihats


???

i use stereo on hihats and some pads... so i want to hear about stereo with others elements .... good or bad and advantage or disadvantage

for me:

subbass - mono
bass - stereo
kick snare - mono
break - stereo
hihats - the dominant hats mono and the rest stereo alongside any percs

If you're making a "dancefloor" DnB tune and you want to make people move, kick, snare, and bass should all be mono, this should be the most powerful and dominant elements of your track. Pads, sometimes hats, accessory FX are free to be panned out a little bit but you need the drums and bass centered imo.
