AKS & Syndaesia remix Wu-Tang Clan (official!)
Belgian producers “AKS & Syndaesia” have remixed “Iconoclasts” by Wu Tang-Clan for the highly anticipated album “Wu Tang meets Indie culture Vol 2 – Enter the dubstep”.
This groundbreaking remix-album is an official Wu-Tang release which will be fueling the bridges between dubstep & hiphop, starring various other bass-thumping remixes from established names such as Evol Intent, Datsik, Excision, Stenchman & more.
“Many of the pioneers and practitioners (DJ’s and producers) in the Dubstep world came up in a time when Wu-Tang ruled the international airwaves. Unlike much commercial hip-hop, the immediacy of Wu-Tang’s sound spoke to many outside of the scope of the typical hip-hop fan, across oceans and at home. Their music and style helped to shape an emerging artform that hadn’t yet defined itself. Hailing from the drum&bass scene AKS (Addicted Kru Sound) & Syndaesia met each other in Leuven, Belgium through their mutual love for electronic music. The combination of rich production-skills & an eclectic musical taste proved to be a winning formula when they started creating dubstep together in 2009. Both producers are considered as upcoming talents with a strong involvement in different projects across the electronic spectrum.
