It doesn't seem like many of the sample packs I have have to many of those nasty tom runs or drum breaks that are always in pro tunes. Anyone got any tips on programming these little flams and nuances in the drums for build ups and drops. Catch my drift?
Well flams are a snare rudiment that are meant to accent a specific note in a snare roll by hitting the snare with one hand and then a split second later hitting it with your other hand. And I have never heard this in DnB before, could you link us a tune that has what you're talking about in it?
Uhm, the tramen has flams I think? Or at least, some nasty jungle amen programming from the old days, along with some Venetian Snares (but that's more experimental, so it might not count).

The tramen was a combination of like three different breaks though wasn't it? I think it was luck.
@Dethworm: You mean like drum fills? There are a ton of metal CDs that have sampleable fills. And I'm sure there are a few sample packs out there, I ended up with quite a few different ones spanning my collection of samples. You might try looking for funk fills too.
"Tower of Power - Clever Girl" has some of the most sampled tomrolls in it... I'm sure
you can find high quality clips of the fills simply by searching on Google
