This is a new version that a couple of people in the 'Secret Forum' have heard.
Thanks to those who gave it a listen and helped. You know who you are.
Anyway, this was going to be an entry for the 'Need your love' comp on Technique Records. But it is so far from the original, I'm not sure whether to enter it now.
The bass and vocal are from the competition pack. The bass has been altered quite a bit though. All other sounds are my own, made with Reason 3.
I consider this version finished now. Might do another mix for the comp though.
To the ones who heard the earlier version. Thanks again. How do you compare this mix to the other?
Thanks to everyone who reviewed my last track. I know I owe a couple of you feedback. I will be on to it real soon. Been very hecktic work wise...

not bad man like the intro good driving feel to it sounds like it would get the dance floor up . big ups to ya mabey some drum edits and quick breaks here an there just to keep the feel of change . good f-ing tune man .

nice intro, kik seems to full, maybe turn it down a little? snares and ghosts are good. I like whats happening once the synth gets going in the drop but everything seems to sit back in the mix a bit, id bring one aspect out as a BIG focal point ie the synth right in ya face punching hard. there also seems to be a sine bass thats a little out of place for my ears, seems a little random and to loud. Otherwise some good aspects to the song, nice work!

beat is sounding crisp n clear good work! personally i prefer the distorted sounds a bit beefier, the one u got in the intro sounds wicked but its a bit thin for my liking, maybe a tad less reverb on the main string-like synth that comes in after the drop?
all that said me likey this one very much, dark n very moody - good job!
first of all thanx for the rew...nice dark stile tune ...effects are nice...drums sound good but a little repetitive...working on a dark trak my self...its my first darkstile tune ..post it when im more or less done with it....
Cant add anything useful at the moment ... since im listening to this at work and my headset here is a piece of crap....

The main break sounds a tad hollow and muffled. Could do with some EQing I guess.
I do like this mixdown. This is my taste in DnB true oldskool jumpup. Especially that long-note-tearing-bass is great and those funky breaks never bore me.

I'm still having trouble with my broadband for some reason, so I'm having trouble streaming tracks, but I will get your tracks reviewed as soon as possible. For some reason, I can't even get onto some websites, but other site like Youtube are working fine...
Interesting comments about the kick. Some saying its not full enough, some saying its to dominant

Goonybag: Not quite sure what you mean by bring the synth more forward when you say it is pushing the other sounds back already. I think you may be right about the sub being out of tune. The samples I used, including the reese were all out compared to my other sounds. I might try using the reese and filter it right down so its a sub.
Ez Ketz. The synth you mean. Is it the one that is a continuous note like in the intro? Or do you mean the three note lick that is also in the intro? That one has some reverb with a gate being used. It might have a bit to much delay and verb on it, you know how I like with my reverb

not that the synth is pushing others back, i think everything is sitting at the same point, maybe more like a tearing synth with more mids that makes you think "fuck me, thats a balltearer", know what i mean? not on a limited level, more like a frequency thang
