Eased up on the compression on this one, wanted to make it longer, ambienter and rawer. Too bad i completely blew up my mixing panel (always ground your equipment
). So it's not nearly close as how i wanted it to sound. But since it's the only piece of homemade 'music' I got for a while, I might as well post it and read the feedback/tips/critic over and over again until I have a new mixer!
The title is WAY TO CLICHE. You gotta name is something else. I think I can hear a Korg Microkorg organ sound in the background NICE. Sounds pretty cool and I like those tuned tomms sound. It has potential until around 1:07 then it just fails to excite me at all. You need to work on your sound design and sound shaping! Keep at it cause this tune has potential!
I like it, great rolling drum line, some pad cuold be replaced with something more aggressive/gritty, but the overall impression was good, too short try to add another drop off or a more powerful ending.
wicked soundin drums orriginal i think its hard 2 make diff orig soundin drums that r gud n still work so nice 1 i thin the hats r to loud in the intro or the intro synths n fx too quite.
youve over used that sample 4 me i jus use it once or twice.
u shud beef up/ bring the sub up in the drop maybee automate the filta on the main reese/synth in the first intro drop then then bring it in full on the main drop gud ideas/melody jus lacks wieght i think cos that sub no hard hitting e nuff.
maybee u cud use a bit mo compresion on the main part of the track but still hav the dynamics givin it a break on the lil break downs.
