Please check out my new track 'Caves' and post your comments here!
Finally got some time to pick up producing and reviewing again. Been practising with a little compression and mastering, too bad i got sh!t speakers so it may be a bit harsh on the low frequencies.

You're making progress.
The low end (not sub, but >100Hz - 300Hz<) could be a tad louder. For shitty speakers you did a great job.
Too much compression on the drums in the drop. You should sidechain the bass to the kick so it gets more room.
Make some more tracks!

Not a bad start, the intro could use some more elements and fx to keep the listener interested, maybe a lead or some bass stabs to show you mean bussiness. Cheers.

Like the vocal samples and the intro effects. The compression doesn't seem right in the tune. Its really squashing the power of the kick and snare hits. I like the texture of the main bass sound. In my (humble) opinion, drum n bass only needs minimal compression. Otherwise you lose the power of the dynamics created from high contrasting and punchy elements. I think this tune has a lot of potential. Maybe find out a bit more about compression techniques and try again. All the best, Pace
