Howdy kidz of the underworld... Just a little jig I did for a short action sequence for a film. Nothing close to a fully formed tune but there are some fundamental ideas present. What do you think of the rhythm/synth sounds? Thanks in advance.
Really good shit man, the intro sounds really cool, the FX are really fresh and are not like you hear in a normal DnB tune, so I've got to give you massive props for doing something different. Might be a bit hard to mix from a DJ prospective, but very fresh from a listener prospective.
Kick sounds a bit quiet to me, the hats and cymbals might be a little too loud. But I really like the idea of this track, finish it man!
like it, very dark! rhythm is really good, nice and steppy! like the bass alot, i'd maybe put a touch of reverb on the main synth in the breakdown to fill it out a bit, take the edge off if you know what i mean. love the snare, maybe the hats are a little sharp but thats just a matter of taste i think. nice work mate
this is pretty cool mate but like u say its not a proper tune-2 b honest from the track name i was xpectin a fat lively jump-up tune.sound more dubstep if nefin 2 me-sound quality seems pretty good 2 me asweel-likin the deep wobble bass!
Very good work on the programming and sound design. Those hihats and rides are just gorgeous. Very nice and detailed work on the bass and lead, they work together splendidly. It would be one hell of a track. But...
It is terribly overcompressed. I think you've intended to blow away the audience in the theater, but this fails completely. It loses all the impact and snappiness, especially in the kick and snare. Once that compressor starts pumping everything is squeezed dry and the only thing that is left is squashed muddiness without any sparkle or definition. The compression distorts the low end too.
Remaster this and it will be a killer!!

You dudez always nail everything right on the head! thanks Chronic I really appreciate it...I don't know what is wrong with me and the compression. I have started to make submixes in reason for all my tracks and use some advanced routing techniques and this really helpds with the workflow and everything. I am working on a really nasty tune right now that I know is gunna blow you guys off the radar, but it might be a while until its done. Im gunna give this track a whole revamp of submixes and im thinking about Bp filtering what is teh bass line right now and putting a sine bass underneath...hmmm anyways anything else!?!
